Chuck Wiese - Trombone 

Chuck Wiese was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska where he began playing trumpet  at the

age of 8. Being wise beyond his years, he quickly switched to the trombone.  He has a  Bachelor of Music degree in music education from the University of Nevada, Reno.  After two
years as a public school teacher and losing most of his hair, Chuck returned to school and  received a Master of Music degree from Indiana University in trombone performance. 

Chuck is currently a member of the Everett Symphony, Bellevue Opera, Lyric Opera Northwest,  Evergreen City Ballet Orchestra, Brass Reflections Brass Quintet, Roadside Attraction, and the Jim Cutler Jazz Orchestra. Other local ensembles he has performed with include the Thalia  Symphony, the Federal Way Symphony, the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society, the Hal Sherman  Monday Night Band, the Emerald City Jazz Orchestra, the Groovin’ Higher Jazz Orchestra, and  the Fairly Honest Jazz Band.  Chuck has also performed with the Four Tops, the Jimmy Dorsey  Orchestra, and has toured nationally with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra.
 
During the day Chuck is a private brass instructor and clinician.
