Scott Teske - Bass

Scott Teske is a dynamic performer, educator and composer who is active in nearly every niche of the Pacific Northwest music scene.  From classical, jazz and tango to salsa, funk, and indie rock, Scott delights audiences with his bold sound and sensitive musicianship. 

Scott is the principal bassist with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.  With Maria Mannisto he performs traditional Finnish music at events and festivals nationwide.  With Rhythm Syndicate, he stretches out on salsa, funk, and world music. He has also performed with dance scene favorites The Ragtime Waltz Orchestra, SpeakEasy, and Men in Black.

Scott also teaches music in public schools with local youth symphonies and keeps his own studio full with private students.  As a composer and arranger he creates and adapts exciting pieces for his students, for local ensembles and for his own solo playing.  To learn more about Scott, visit http://www.scottteskemusic.com.
