Jeff Volkman - Bass guitar

Jeff grew up in the Northwest, playing a variety of musical instruments before settling on electric bass. He studied music at Edmonds Community College in Edmonds WA, University of Washington in Seattle, and Berklee College of Music in Boston, as well as studying privately with George Morrow, Howard Roberts, Kai Eckhardt, Bruce Gertz, Dan Dean, and others.

While attending Berklee in the early 80s, Jeff was fairly active in the Boston music scene playing clubs and casuals before moving to Florida where he played cruise ships, clubs, shows, theme parks and did some studio work. While playing cruise ships, he took advantage of the opportunity to write arrangements for show bands, and started to get hooked on arranging, and later producing.

In the early 90's Jeff returned to the Northwest to raise his son, and has been putzing around the local music scene ever since, playing with a variety of local and regional artists, as well as arranging and producing recording projects.
